How to Efficiently Save Gas
Soaring gas prices are hurting everyone’s wallet. If you can afford to buy a new efficient car, go for it as soon as possible. This is because the more you stick with your gas guzzler, the more it can hurt your wallet and no one knows for sure how deep the gas prices can dig inside your wallet.
If you can’t afford to buy one, follow my simple and very effective secrets to save fuel. It can be described in one simple word - LIGHTEN. It covers almost every part of the car. Remove unnecessary clutter inside your car like tools if you plan only for a short drive around the city. Remove that heavy jack or if you want, replace it with lighter one. Remove those heavy floor mats if you can. If you can sacrifice your heavy speakers, you can remove them. Do not forget to clean your car as often as possible and take note underneath those wheel wells. Hit it with a strong stream of water and watch the mud go down. You’ll be surprised how much that dirt weigh if you can find a way to weigh it. Honestly, if you know you will be driving alone most of the time, try to remove the back seat. I did managed to remove mine as I drive most of the time alone. But the most important of all, lighten your foot on the gas pedal.
You can try those thing I have mentioned and watch your fuel gauge consuming less fuel. Enjoy!

Hybrid
As gas prices are soaring at record highs nowadays and scientist around the world are making the results of their global warming research known to every man, it’s no question that you will think about saving gas and reducing carbon emissions. Gas prices are going to almost hit the $150 per barrel and ice is melting around the north and south poles. As these information spreads around the world, people are now starting to think how they can save gas and how they can save the environment. Researchers from around the world are now providing ways to counter the soaring gas prices and the effects of global warming. One of their primary targets is the automotive world. There is so much carbon emission that comes from our vehicles and most of them is wasted because not most of these cars are efficient.
Today automotive manufacturers are being hit by the gas prices. Consumers nowadays are seeking for cars to compensate the gas prices and inflation on the market. Instead of gas guzzlers, car consumers prefer to have a small and more efficient cars. This resulted to the news on the internet that SUV’s are now dying. Not only SUV’s but also compact cars with V8 engines etc. Auto manufacturers are now trying to save their industry and had their researchers come up with a good solution: go for Hybrids.
Hybrid Vehicles are now common. They work efficiently by providing you more mileage and less gas. The concept is simple: an internal engine and a sufficient battery to store energy for the car to run. They work efficiently by shutting off the internal combustion engine while cruising or during a traffic stop and letting the battery run the car. That’s it. The battery will get its stored energy from the engine or other factors such as recapturing the energy from braking. As you may notice, Hybrid Cars has a weird shape. The reason for this is to make the car itself aerodynamic or create less drag. This makes the car more efficient. Recently hybrid vehicles are now covering every type of vehicle. They now include SUV’s. This move was done to save the SUV in the market. Don’t take them for granted because these hybrid SUV’s still have their infamous 4WD system and can still tackle some off-road conditions.
If I am given a chance to own a hybrid, I definitely would go for it. Although the car itself is expensive, no one knows for sure how far does the gas prices can go. So it is a good investment if you consider owning a vehicle a necessity. And most of all, you can contribute ways to help save our planet.

Harley-Davidson
Harleys are among the few that can produce the loudest roar in the line of big bikes. I’ve only seen one Harley in my town, and that is a very sick bike. My only regret looking at that bike was, it’s not mobile. It was still being carried by a truck, perhaps, fresh from the market.
In our town, we don’t have any manufacturers of Harley-Davidson. But I don’t think that the owner will be having trouble looking for Harley Davidson motorcycle parts. There are a lot of stock in the web that can surely make him go crazy of all the available stocks. Parts like Seats, Lights, Accessories, and most importantly, Engine parts. All parts of the bike you can imagine, is just a click away.
I have really been a great fan of big bikes that roar. The noise of those engines will surely make me cry out for more. vrooom vro0m..

Biodiesel
Thinking why the oil/gas prices are soaring high? Well for one reason: it is clearly depleting. No matter where you’ve read it, or where your sources are, it is clearly depleting. Remember about the law of supply and demand? Simply put as supply decreases, the price goes up and vice versa. Just basing on this simple rule, you can clearly apply this to what is happening in our gas prices.
Don’t worry though because there are a lot of ways not to buy fuel from fossil. There are alternatives and this are a lot more environmentally friendly. Biodiesel are one of the few examples. Today, most of diesel fuel comes from fossil which is the reason why you smell really bad after following an old truck with a black smoke. Biodiesel comes from natural organic resources like vegetable oil, coconut oil, palm oil, etc. You can even recycle used oil from restaurants or even the oil you cook at home. No one will be sure how long the fossil fuels underneath will last. Some even say that it will be depleted in as short as 30 years.
Today, a lot of car manufacturers are turning to diesel. Of course, they are trying to protect their business for the coming years. Filling up with biodiesel fuel doesn’t need any modification for the engine, just fill it up to the tank and then go. You are seeing a lot of cars today running on diesel. You may think that this is weird but this is true. For example, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, are now trying to have sedan type cars running on diesel. Don’t take them for granted if you’re on to racing. These cars today can run at par with gas engines. Take a close look at Audi’s R10 at Le Mans – a 650 HP race car with 1,100 N·m (811 ft·lb) of torque! And it runs on DIESEL. It’s a race car – yes but Audi took the technology from Le Mans to make cars. It already won several Le Mans competitions beating some gas powered cars.
So, try to invest in diesel and keep away from our addiction to fossil fuel. Diesel cars now the future of automotive industry.

Proper Oil Change
For the past four years of driving my car, my usual oil change is once a year or every 10,000 kilometers of travel. Most of my friends that I’ve shared this info always replied that the recommended oil change would be 5,000 kilometers. Even though with their critique, I still continue changing my engine oil once a year.
I have just proven that my concept were true. According to Yahoo, the 5,000 kilometer change oil were a thing in the past. Since I’m always using a synthetic oil for my car, it is a good thing that I’m maintaining a 10,000 kilometer change oil. It saves me money and also saves the environment.

Finding the Right Car
Finding the right car is indeed a very hard thing to do. You need to know first your prospect before you buy it. Because you need to buy the car that soothes your taste. You don’t want to invest big cash on something that you don’t like, right?
The first thing you need to do is to have a list of Cars that fits your needs. Then with the list in your hands, know all of this cars by reading some Car Reviews. This is the most important thing in buying cars. Because this reviews were not being made by the manufacturers themselves. This reviews were being critiqued by people who are neutral. With a good car review, you can actually find anything. From the feeling of driving the car, its pros and cons and even fuel consumptions.
Now if your looking for Fast Cars, or just a family car, then following my personal tips will certainly make you not regret your decisions.

Car Freshener
I have been buying different flavors of car freshener already. I have tried glades, ambi pur, and california scent. In glades sport, I have tried all the flavors but my favorite will be the cool air. I also tried ambi pur because I got sold out with their odor remover thingy. I kinda liked the scent but it is just too expensive for me. The last one I’m currently using right now is california scent. The flavor that I picked is orange. I have been really looking for this kind of scent for a very long time. Because every time my brother goes to any car events, I always smells this fragrance. Though the freshener is also too expensive, it is a good thing already for me that I finally found what I have been looking for.

Tire Pressure
Tire pressure is very important yet, a lot of people may overlooked at it. It is important to maintain a balanced and correct tire pressure every time.
When your tire is unbalanced, perhaps having a greater pressure compared to the other tires, the handling of your car may differ. Chances are, if you loose your grip in the steering wheel, your car might go to left or right. This is really not a good idea especially when your traveling in a long distance. Another downside of having an unbalanced pressure is that, your tire wears easily. Since your car keeps on turning, tire usage maximizes. Having not the correct pressure of the tire can also be very dangerous especially at high speed. Your tire might explode. Reasons might be if your carrying a heavy load having a great amount of pressure. Or also having a low pressure running at high speed.
So better check your car manual for the correct tire pressure. Also remember to always check your tire pressure especially before having a long distance trip.

Colored Emissions
There are actually two colors of smoke that a car emits. White and Black. And we also have two types of engines that emits these two colors. The diesel and gas engine. Both have different concept when they emit those two colors.
First up is the Gas Engine. Every morning, that is in tropical whether, when you start your car, you will usually notice a white smoke coming from the exhaust pipe. This is actually normal in gas engine. This is just a steam coming from the water inside the pipe. Since the engine is producing hot air, it burns all those water, thus producing steam. It will eventually disappear around a minute or two. But when the car is already starting, and white smoke still comes from the exhaust, this is something else. This means that your engine is damaged that it burns your engine oil. Cause of this problem would probably be a damaged piston rings or worse. Then another scenario would be the exhaust emitting black smoke. This is the most dirties problem of them all. Your engine is already full of carbon deposits. This would probably need overhaul and cleaning.
On the diesel engine, the same story goes when it produces white smoke. A steam on the morning and a burned engine oil in the afternoon. But what makes some people confused is that they think when a diesel engine emits black smoke, they reckon that it is normal. In fact it is not. The engine’s fuel injector needs to be calibrated. This is not an easy adjust on the injector. This really needs equipment to calibrate the engine.

Hole in the Fire Wall
Fire Wall is the wall that separates your engine bay from the inside of your car. My car has a hole on it for the past 3 years of driving. I kept on looking for this hole because air from the outside will penetrate through it. This is a bit of hassle for me because I can smell those other car’s filthy emissions. Or maybe sometimes went I pass through a wet market, I can smell those fishes. Hmm fresh air?
I have been suffering with this problem for the past three years of driving my car. I suspect that the hole is big because of the air I felt on my feet every time I drive. I kept on looking for this hole but I just can’t find it. So yesterday, I tried something new, searching for the smallest hole. I saw one and it is small enough that my index finger could fit in the hole. The hole is also covered with rubber, so this hole will get lesser without inserting my finger on it. I tried covering the hole with the use of a rug. Fits perfectly and I just hopes for the best. I haven’t tried it yesterday because I felt too lazy to drive. This morning was the first attempt and I tried taking off my shoes and socks and raises my pants just to make sure that I can feel air that passes through. At the speed of 60 kph, my feet felt no air. Success!!
So make sure that no holes are present in your fire wall. A very tiny hole can be the cause of a big problem. Imagine that small can let those exhaust penetrate on the inside. That could make me suffocate inside if I don’t pass those busted diesel engines.
